Philosophy Workshop

Enlightenment & Revolution

The tour unravels the most relevant sites of the French Revolution inviting you, step after step, to think about the philosophy whose influence sparked one of the most decisive times of human history. According to certain historians, the beginning of the French Revolution marks the End of the Century of Enlightenment. By exploring places and contemplating ideas, understanding how the intellectual debates opened the way to a bloody uprising, you will have a better view of the relationship between the history of ideas and that of the people who enacted them.
